PRINTeL’S 1ST ANNUAL TEACHING & LEARNING FORUM

20 May 2021

“ISSUES AND PERSPECTIVES OF DIGITALLY-ENHANCED TEACHING & LEARNING IN HIGHER EDUCATION”

The ERASMUS+ funded PRINTeL Project successfully held a webinar on its 1st annual Teaching & Learning Forum entitled “ISSUES AND PERSPECTIVES OF DIGITALLY-ENHANCED TEACHING & LEARNING IN HIGHER EDUCATION”. The Forum took place on the 20th of May, 2021 from 10:00 to 15:35 Central European Summer Time (CEST).

The Forum took the form of an online webinar, which focused on how European and Eastern Partnership Country (EPC) universities responded to the changes in teaching and learning (T&L) that came about because of the Covid-19 crisis. It also gave an opportunity to analyse what was done over the past year to support university communities in addressing key challenges of T&L, as well as a chance to reflect on what lies ahead for university T&L in the future. It highlighted the key findings of the recent experience of PRINTeL Project partners on innovative and technology-enhanced T&L in times of Covid-19.

The Forum allowed the participants to meet and discuss development in the digitalised T&L at European and EPC universities. Through a mix of presentations and interactive audience engagement in different plenary sessions it provided a platform for the discussion on how universities enhance T&L in virtual space as well as present the ways to accomplish the digital transformation in T&L that our HEIs require during the Covid-19.

The webinar was of interest to university and school teachers, quality assurance officers and management personnel involved in T&L of HEIs. Students, policy-makers and other stakeholders in higher education participated in the webinar as well.

Aound 500 people registered for attending the PRINTeL's First Annual Forum's Webinar and 312 out of them actually participated in it. The number of active panelists-presenters comprised 29 people.
